I have a Asus TUSL 2C motherboard with a P3 1 gig processor and Intel 815EP chipset but the message "cannot locate driver for PCI system management bus" always appears upon bootup and I cannot find the driver on the Asus motherboard CD nor on any other driver CDS for my system. Nothing could be found from the Asus website and Intel website to resolve this problem. After several tries, the message mysteriously disappears but in the Windows 98 SE system, device manager there is a yellow question mark and I wonder whether it will affect any programs when windows is running. Could anybody advise what the effects will be and if there is, then how do I go about to obtain the drivers to resolve this problem?

Have you installed the chipset drivers?

Recommended installation, in sequence:

1.) Intel Chipset Software Installation Utility
2.) Intel Ultra ATA Storage Driver
3.) Intel Application Accelerator

Note: The Application Accelerator is a replacement for the Storage Driver ... but may not install correctly on your system without detecting the Storage Driver already on the system. This is why I recommend installing all three drivers.
