Question Missing thermal paste/material in the Asus ROG Strix G531GT cooling system after cleaning

Hello everyone, I recently sent my Asus ROG Strix G531GT laptop for cleaning and maintenance. After a few months of use, I noticed that it was starting to overheat. I opened up the laptop to investigate and found that some of the components surrounding the CPU and GPU were missing thermal paste or material.

I'm not sure what type of thermal paste/material is used on these components. I'm interested in learning more about this because I want to make sure that my laptop stays cool and performs well over time.

Can anyone provide information about the type of thermal paste/material used in the Asus ROG Strix G531GT, or any recommendations for high-quality thermal paste that I could use to replace it? Also, could the missing thermal paste/material be causing the overheating issue I'm experiencing?

It needs to be thick so it doesn't really move around. Also the performance of the paste for VRAM and VRM doesn't have to be as good as the one for the CPU or GPU.
