Mistakenly transfered files to NTFS HDD

Hi, I made one big mistake, so I'm wondering if it's possible to transfer or somehow access data from WD HDD to which I previously transferred all data from the previous hard disk. The problem is that this HDD is formatted (NTFS) and without the operating system on it, but it has my data that I can not access. I transferred these data via Ubuntu Live USB. I see it in the device manager as HDD even when I connect it with USB to SATA connector, but when i do that and try to access, it just starts to reads, and nothing happens after that.

Solution
Try with another computer, another USB adapter. Unless there is an issue with the drive there should be no issues copying files out of it unless you had something not default setup on the drive like encryption or used some special commands to copy the files and made them locked for moving/copying.
