We have the 60" Mit HDTV. Recently it hasn't been responding to the remote or even the front panel buttons. The manual says to unplug it, wait, replug it, press reset and when we do that, it responds. The problem is we are having to do it every night. Do we have a defective TV or are we doing something wrong? Please help. Kathy

if the remotes batteries are fresh and it still doent work, then ( based on the assumption that you know how to press buttons) return it to its store and get a refund.

it is not necessary the tv it could be the remote itself. before you go through the hassle of carrying your 60 inches tv back to the store you can go there with just the remote and have it tested for signal. it is often so that just the remote is defective; and yeah, check for batteries!
