Hi,
Currently my ASUS FX505DT with Ryzen 5 3550H have one 8gb RAM installed. This RAM is Hynix 2666MHz. Part number HMA81GS6CJR8N-VK. The issue comes is Ryzen 5 architecture doesn't support 2666MHz clock frequency and the max support is upto 2400MHz only. I am planning to install 2400MHz Crucial 8gb memory in the another slot, Part number- CT8G4SFS824A.
So with this upgrade, will there be any issue or everything is good to go?

Solution
There are no guarantees from any memory manufacturer that such a combination will be compatible together. You can do your own compatibility testing with no guarantees to see if it works.
