I understand this is not advised and can be a headache but I'm curious on other peoples opinions on this. I am planning on upgrading to 8 GBs of RAM, and need ideas on which stick to buy, I am only going to buy one at this time.

My Motherboard is a H97-D3H with a i5-4690s. I understand that the slower RAM's speed will be used, and I do plan on getting a 2nd stick of the HyperX if I was to get it, but how much difference would it been in performance since it wont be in dual channel, as I need 8GBs badly and potentially upgrading to another stick of HyperX wouldn't be till a few months.
I would like some suggestions.
