Have Corsair XMS3 2x4gb 1600mhz C11 currently in my PC. I have spare Corsair XMS3 2x2gb 1600mhz C9. The 2x2gb one has a voltage of 1.65v and the other 1.5v as well as the different latency's.
If I put the 2x2gb in my PC will they just run dual channel instead of quad channel with the other RAM or will it cause problems?

Thanks

they will run in dual channel and the speed of all the ram will just match the slowest one. I'm not sure about the voltage differences though but if anything it just won't work

Try it out and see, if it doesn't work it will just crash so take it out and go back to normal.

Need the rest of the PC specs to tell you if the system can even run quad channel. (Only X79 and X99 boards can do that)

If you are using a Haswell processor you will not be wanting to mix 1.65v and 1.5v memory. The controller is designed for 1.5v. 1.65v would mean overvoltaging the memory controller.
