Mobile gaming for college

Dear community,

I am not sure if this is the exact forum where I should post this, but I am in a huge rush. So basically I am about to buy a gaming laptop for my college years. I can not decide between two: they both have i7-6700HQ, 16gb DDR4. But the key difference is this: one of them (Asus G72VY) contains a GTX980m 8gb and the other (MSI GT62VR) has a GTX1060 6gb.

What do you guys think? Which one shall I choose? The notebooks with 1070s are out of my budget.

The MSI with the GTX 1060 is going to have better performance for gaming. Is there a big difference in price?

The MSI is cheaper with 30 Euros. However, I am not yet sure about it's display details. On the page (where I am willing to order) it says it 's not IPS but on the official website says the opposite.
