My laptop broke and had a 2tb hdd from seagate.
I bought a Tornado R7 by pc specialist but it came with a nvme m2 ssd and only 1 tb space used for OS cramped with games.
I need to add the mobile hdd for gaming space but i cant get it to show up in the bios by asus. I tried changing the ports and i tried a second mobile ssd from the laptop 480gb by kingston hyperx. but this ssd wont show in bios either.
I went to shops and bought another sata cable but still nothing and i know both drives work as i tested them in laptop before i took them out.
I was hoping it was gonna auto detect but either my srttings are wrong or my desktop is faulty ?
Is anyone able to guide me ?
i have looked at so many youtube vids but they all just show how to connect it not problem solving.
