1) I click on the wifi symbol in the task pane. The star next to it indicates no connection.
2) What opens up is a list of internet connections. My phone is listed there. That's good. There are 3 small squares or buttons below the list of internet connections: Wi-Fi, Airplane mode, and Mobile Hotspot. When I click my phone in the list of internet connections, the button labeled Wi-Fi begins to flash. The other two--Airplane mode and Mobile hotspot remain off. The result is that my phone hotspot does not connect.
Why? And how can I get it to connect? My mobile hotspot, meaning my phone, worked fine earlier in the day at the library. Thanks in advance.
