Mobo-CPU Compatibility Question

I'm buying a new CPU for my computer, and I am just a bit paranoid about compatibility (I have had problems with it before). I currently own an MSI X79A GD45 Plus LGA 2011, and I am looking for a new i7 processor. The processor I am looking at is the i7 4820k. It has an LGA 2011 socket, but I just want to be 100% sure it is compatible. Thanks.
My other specs:
800watt PSU
2 x 4gb corsair vengeance DDR3
1TB WD Black
Radeon Sapphire HD 7950 3gb
(And soon to be installed AverMedia Game Capture HD pro)

The i7 4820k is compatible with x79 according to intel. It should work.

they are compatible (or should be) but try to step up to a 4930K instead, you'd get 2cores extra at a relatively small difference.

Do you know if my memory is compatible? I was looking at the compatibility page (on the MSI website) but I'm still not sure. I have 2 x 4gb Corsair Vengeance Blue. Not OC, just out of the box standard.

What is the RAMs exact model?
Corsair lists http://www2.corsair.com/configurator/new_configurator_product_results.aspx?sc=&id=2400173 as guaranteed compatible, but it doesn't mean that other models would not work.
