Mobo debug LED for boot is on. No BIOS

Hi all

I did a test boot by installing my CPU, fan, RAM, and connecting the mono and CPU power, and finally plugging my monitor in. Went for a boot, and I can't even get bios. The mobo EZ debug LED for boot is on. Manual says the boot is a fail. What gives?

Reseat the RAM, CPU, and double check connections. Do you have a cooler connected?

the debug LED should be able to tell you more then it just failing to boot since that can mean anything. the manual should have something that points to a specific component like memory or video failiure

That problem is usually a RAM issue.

Yeah, the manual is scarce on details, only that the booting device is not connected or failed.

Tried playing around with the RAM slots but no dice.

My only other guess is that I'm using HDMI instead of VGA to plug my monitor. Although I don't see why that would be an issue.

I reset the CMOS and it all worked out.
