[SOLVED] Mobo drivers order

Solution
Chipset first then the rest, in any order. So that Windows recognises what the chips are for before installing drivers for them.
My rule of thumb is to have the network driver ready to install with windows. the network driver is the most important on a new build, once that is installed and you can connect to the intertnet you can download and install the drivers as you see fit.

I do not suggest using the drivers that came with the hardware, except the LAN driver, you can download newer/safer/updated drivers from the website of each device maker. after the LAN start with the mobo drivers as the motherboard is not one device but many.

Not really. I would start with Chipset, then LAN, then Audio.

You dont need to install anything else really. The Intel RapidStorage drivers are only really needed if you are going to do a RAID configuration. And I tend to avoid the Utility software.

As far as updating the BIOS, that is a different matter.
