You many need a BIOS update before your CPU will work. It's easy to update.

Like, there are many motherboards with more slots on. And other stuff. But if minimum is all you want then go for it.

That card allows you to use another graphics card at the same time (two of same type, like two GTX 760's) to increase performance in games. Now or in the future when it starts to feel slow. Good option to have.
