I've a gaming PC, i felt need to upgrade my PC. I have a FX 6100 and an Asus M5A78L, then i bought an I7 3770 used and a new Asus P8Z77-M. Just arrived the mobo i installed and the mobo presented some issues. The green led turns on and the coolers starts to run, but after many seconds the mobo turns off and has no video, don't matter if i put de HDMI cable at the mobo or VGA. So i called the seller, he told me to to send the mobo to him, then i did and he sent me an email telling the mobo was short. No problem, he send me a new mobo, this time was a P8H77-M instead. Just arrived i tried to install the mobo at my PC and presented the same problem. But this time certainly wasn't short. I went to my friend's home and tested the mobo using his PSU and it turns on, even we updated the BIOS.
I don'nt anymore what to do, because the mobo isn't turning on only at my home. Help, what can i do? Do you know if this mobo has some short security feature?
