MObo or Creative soundcard?

i am not too sure where this belongs but hopefully its not in wrong place!

anyway i found out that this soundcard is decent for the price

but my worry is , as it seems so cheap , i find it hard to believe it is better than my motherboards output of sound

the mobo does have some "SPECIAL" sound output builtin but does that creative pci card outwork the internal z97g5 sound output ? because that "SPECIAL" inbuilt thing is just marketing i believe, which is not the reason i bought the mobo anyway. I have the Corsair SP2500 speakers and the bass doesnt cut it. the kicks are nice but the bass "blows" with the kicks which i do not like , makes it sound unclear like your ears are filled with sand. i believe that is called the high note of the bass that is not low enough ? please correct me as i am no audiophile. but i do love CLEAR and PERFECT kick that makes everything move in the room or shake even.

Hello ... I find the RealTek Mb chips have very good Audio sound, but there are different models of the Chip... and you know that the Realtek Chip uses your CPU for a Processor, thus a Software driven Sound Chip. Some of the Creative uses a Processing CPU/Chip that does all the work, Thus a Hardware audio card.
The Technology Of Audio has driven the prices Down so much... And our CPU's are so much faster... And that is Good for us B )
So if you have a weak CPU get a hardware based card for the Best Digital Audio, If you have a strong CPU then the Realtek MB Chips Kick some serious BASS.

or can you reccomend some other cheap good soundcard? under the creative sound blaster z one reviewer said his corsair sp2500 sound alot better with that than onboard , i just want something up to 50 euro. but something that would clear out the bass with nice kicks

any of these cards would be better sound quality (mainly bass quality) rather than my onboard soundcard? cheapest option needed.

Hello... You can Change the Audio Software Processing settings, I can go to 24 bit 19200hz with my Realtek chip.
Have you tried, or listened too your favorite songs with these Different settings?
Also there is graphic EQ in their software to Tune the Sound to your Speakers, Have you tried thse settings with your favorite song?

i have tried all settings but my corsair sp2500 bass kicks are crappy still. the whole subwoofer just literaly makes BIG AIR punch along with a kick . i want a clear kick from my bass. maybe i did something wrong . maybe you know how to setup the equalizer ? but i think that pci soundcard would be better or not ?

Helllo... I have bought alot of Creatives in my time, The first ones and others, Because the CPU's were so weak back then... I am completely happy with My MB Realtek's, BUT I use 15" main speakers and 100 watt Amps. And your Sound is only as good as as what you Amplify it with, and the Speakers you use to listen to it.
Have you tried adjusting your Sub Freq control?
