Mobo or SSD Failing?

Hello! I'm having a very awkward issue here. I'm currently using an Intel 600p SSD as my OS Install and for some games from Steam. I had to reinstall W10 from a bsod lock I had on my computer. It would literally just go straight to bsod only. Wouldn't be able to get the code or error since I didn't note it, sorry. I remember, vaguely, systrail.exe or something if anyone is familiar with anything similar to that. It was a missing file from my system32 folder according to one bsod. Had to pull my CMOS because my keyboard wasn't giving any input to reach the BIOS, but I managed to get W10 64-bit reinstalled. Main issue currently is it will sometimes go into disk check and W10 will lock up. Probably 1-2 times a day. I have a 4790k with a Gigabyte G1 1080 and Gigabyte Z97-D3H mobo. Would anyone recommend any tools for diagnostics or is there something I'm overlooking and it's obvious? I did have to update my BIOS for the M.2 to register which threw my pc in a boot-loop for a few rounds after the install, but it pulled through (about 4 months ago). I'll provide any more info if required.

Thanks for taking the time to read through and comment!

Sorry for the late reply. I've updated the firmware for my Intel 600p. I also should've mentioned that it's a M.2 SSD. My psu is a CX750 from Corsair. System had been stable so far with the firmware update, but it still locks up from sleep sometimes and wants to disk check.
No overclock.
Contacting tech support didn't help me.
I ran into a local geek squad and they ran a thorough mobo diagnostic since I work for them and found no issues there. Also ran Intel diagnostics with no faults found.
