I'm planning my next gen 4 (3900x equivalent) / 3090 build and I am trying to understand PCI 4.0 lanes. From what I am able to understand, sometimes using certain lanes disables others, etc. etc.
I am hoping to take advantage of the new ampere loading technology and am going all out w/ Corsair MP600 SSD / 3090, which I think I want both slotted in PCI 4.0
My original plan was a B550 Tomahawk, but it looks like it only has one PCI 4.0 slot.
Looking for a few choices for MOBO that can handle both 4.0 SSD and GPU, with good thermals? Don't need wifi or more than 1 M.2 slot. I have gig internet, so needs to be able to handle that as well. Trying to cut down on bloatware, so hopefully GPU and Mobo will be made by the same company (ASUS, MSI or GB probably). And aesthetics count more than they should.
