Hey guys, hoping someone here can help me as this is my first post.

So, my pc has suddenly stopped recognizing my drives. I was on it last night, gaming with some friends with no issues. Turned off my pc before I went to bed as usual. Tried to hop on it today, and it boots directly into UEFI and shows no drives in the menu. I have a 500GB SK hynix drive i use as my primary boot drive, and a 2TB Seagate barracuda drive I use for storage. Neither drives are shown in the uefi menu. I can provide more info, just need to know what is relevant.

Thanks in advance

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!

We're going to need a little more information from your end. When posting a thread of troubleshooting nature, it's customary to include your full system's specs. Please list them like so:
CPU:
Motherboard:
Ram:
SSD/HDD:
GPU:
PSU:
Chassis:
OS:

Please include the age of the PSU apart from it's make and model. Since you're able to get into BIOS, please check and see what your current BIOS version is.

If would be a good start to try and figure out if its the motherboard or the drives. As a test you could disconnect all drives and try booting from a usb stick containing either the windows installer or a linux live distro. If a usb boot is successful and it seems all your hardware functions properly then you could turn your attention to the drives. You could connect the Seagate first since it doesn't include the operating system and see if you could access that. That would narrow it down to an operating system failure on the hynix drive. At that point you could try a windows repair and if that fails you may have to completely reinstall windows.
