mobo supplies more voltage to the CPU ?

Hello,

So I decided to overclock my 5820k installed on an ASUS rampage v extreme.

I managed to get 4.2GHz, BCLK: 100

However I am concerned regarding CPU voltages are above of what I've input in the BIOS.

For example, I've input a voltage of 1.21v in the BIOS however I am getting a Vcore of 1.236 under load (Used CPU-Z). Is that normal ? I am sure that Fully manual settings were enabled (Adaptive voltage or Auto is off)

Note: When I first started to overclock the CPU i was getting Vcore of almost exactly what i have input in the BIOS. After updating the BIOS, I get higher voltages at idle and under load than I've input.

I thought that i will get better overclocking results if i did. I wanted to reach at least 4.4GHz.
I guess i made it worse now.

Yeah - you should flash it back to where it was.
