mobo supports pcie 3.0 only for 3rd gen i5/i7 processors

my gpu is a gtx 750ti and it says it needs a pcie 3.0 but my cpu is only a sandy bridge which is a 2nd gen processor will my gpu still work even tho that my mobo says that pcie 3.0 will only work with 3rd gen cpu's

Doesn't matter if a GPU runs on PCIE 2.0 or 3.0

It's litelarry no difference at all especially not with a 750ti.
