Modding Fallout NewVegas: Falloutnv.esm is missing? Nexus Mod Manager

Im trying to use the multiplayer mod for Fallout New Vegas but when I try to run Nexus mod manager it says Falloutnv.esm is missing. I checked the folder, and its wasnt there. Can you help? I already verified my game cache on steam. It didnt work.

FalloutNV.esm is the game itself, so if it's missing, you need to verify the game's files with Steam so that the missing data can be replaced.

I did verify but it was only 400kb. I can play fallout New Vegas though?
