Question Modding my pc

So i know this isn't really meant for this portion of the forum, but its the closest i could find. SO, i'm looking at doing a bit of pc modding, I want to mainly cover up my pcb of my asus gtx 1060 dual edition which doesn't have a back plate, and my ssd. I was curious if anyone has any tips for doing these two. I don't want to void any warranties, and don't want to accidentally fry something. Any tips or suggestions please send them my way. I'm already looking at getting a cable extension kit for my main power cables to brighten them up.

You can use acrylic and have them placed onto of the components with some mild sticky, double sided tape.
