Question Modem issues

I have for the past 2-3 months been having about 1-2 random internet disconnects per day. I have not been able to accurately figure out the cause, but i am 90% sure it is modem based. The internet cuts out, but the modem says everything is fine. Once reset, it works perfectly fine until said cut out happens. I originally thought that maybe it was the cables, but i have used other devices with it, and low and behold, same issue. It has to be modem based, right? I plan to buy a new one this weekend, just need to confirm.
brand is TP, around a year old.
