Modem no longer detects Internet after reset

Hi so I reseted my modem yesterday, pressed the reset button with pen, all good it reseted, i set everything up and wait for it to restart, only to then notice that Internet on my modem isnt blinking at all, 2 lights, but no 3rd, not even red. The cable of my connection should work just fine since it worked 3 minutes befor i reseted it, I tried to change my configuration, reset it again, restart it, leave it off for an hour, connected and disconected cables, but nothing helped the lamp just stays off and the modem menu shows me that its not connected to the internet, does anyone have an idea why this happens ? I have wlan just fine (as in i can connect to it but no internet since my modem doesnt) and everything else also does work.


My Modem is : D-Link DSL-2877AL

My connection is DSL line 70 down and 30up if that matters

Before troubleshooting your equipment check with your ISP first to see if they are having problems at their end, last time my router's internet status light was showing a fault (not lit) it was actually my ISP that had a technical problem affecting my entire village.

My friend next door who uses the same provider has interner just fine, I also called my ISP asked them and they said its all fine on their side so that doesnt seem to be the issue

So does anyone have any idea where i could start with troubleshooting ? I really dont want to have someone from my ISP come over since i cant afford the fee
