Following a system recovery, my modem has been found by the computer (in
device manager) but when I run aol it can't locate it in the computer. Also
says something about com ports being busy. What can I do?

Hello

Remove your modem and all drivers and reboot your pc,
then re-install the modem and make sure that you have
the most current drivers installed for it. Then manualy
configure your modem for AOL.

I tried this, and it worked for a minute but now doesn't. It says the
communication ports are busy or something. Also, how do you configure
manually?

Hello

Well maybe your modem could be defective or just
intermitting and needs to be replaced.
