This is my first time posting here and also my first time overclocking on a budget build. I was looking for some help to moderately overclock my AMD-4300FX 3.8ghz safely using stock voltages. What's a reccomended clock speed and any other suggestions/things to look out for while overclocking with this mobo?

I know this mobo has no vram heat sink and sucks for overclocking, but I just wanted to squeeze as much power as I can out of the CPU safely without any throttling from the motherboard due to high temperatures.

I was thinking of purchasing MOSFET heatsinks for the mothermoard to help with the cooling when OC'ing

That quad core CPUs like you have are a lot easier on the VRMs - but I would make sure that they get as much airflow as possible. Other than that, every CPU is different - you'll have to go up in small steps and test stability after each increase. A lot of CPUs can reach 4.5GHz@1.4V with good cooling.
