Hello my fellow PC gamers!

Im writing because Im very confused about all the dilema about Modern Warfare 2. Some people say its the worst thing that IW has taken out after the amazing hit of COD4. I really want to buy the game, but then again I dont want to get it and then feel like a total Idiot after spending $60. Also some friends from school got the game last night and said that they played it till 6am in SP mode. Some said that the story is so intense that they didnt want to go to sleep. How interesting. I really want to try it out. But then with all the things they have taken away from the PC version its a huge draw back. God this is so anoying. Can some one that has bought the game for the PC post something, a review or something that we the PC gamers can rely on. Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yea... but this server issue is driving me insane, I play for a bit and the host disconnects, then they system looks for the best connection and we play another 10-15 min and again the host disconnects. That sucks, if we had dedi servers we would all be happy campers and there would be no complaining....

Plus there are waaaaay to many hackers using some crazy wallhacks, aimbots, glitches GALORE , etc.... I was in a server 10 min ago and a dude had 43 kills and 3 deaths, just dropping bombs on everyone and when you looked at the replay on ricochet:SD you can clearly see that he is looking through walls....Everyone complaining and telling the dude to leave when he was the friggin host!!! The MP is flawed and if IW or AV doesnt do anything about it, it will just get worse. ohh forgot, the instant level 70 hack that was posted online before the game came out, that is just crazy, we didnt have to deal with any of this when MW1 came out....

Yeahh about 2 hours ago we encountered a hacker in our game. That looser wasn't dying when we clearly shot him like a million times. We were telling him to get off and still he stayed, so me and my buddies switched games. Left that a-hole by himself. THere seems to be lots of hacking lately I hope STEAM does something about it because the game is really fun its just sad that dumbbots like that hacker are allowed to enter the system. However the game rocks and I'm barely on RANK 34, and I cant get enough. The only thing I hate is that if you dont have internet you cant even play the SP mode, somehow it needs steam to play, that is soooo gay, but ohhhh well.

Only thing really bad about this game is taking away the dedicated servers.
But saying this the multi player is ment to be very good.

I think using steam is a bad thing for this game and any other game that uses it.....

I don't think steam is bad, look at L4D and L4D2 among others.... Steam is not to blame, it's kind of a hassle to get used to though. I just can't stand the fact that we have no more favorite servers, if you are in a CLAN (MW2) you are basically wasting your time since being in a clan requires at least 1 private server for clan matches. Not being able to "LEAN" is another drawback, not sure why IW removed that option. And the worst issue of all is not even the servers, its all the hacking thats going on. Right now it's worse than I have ever seen in any game. Last night it took me around 20 min to find a dam host that was worth playing, the hackers cannot even pretend to be legit... Another issue due to the lack of dedi servers is the rules, for example spawn killing, jump and pump, camping and others are permited since there are no rules, this is basic procedure for FPS games.... I just hope some day we can get our normal servers, I don't think that is asking much...

ohh yeahh i have a GTX 260, i wish i had a ati5000. make a huge difference. but im fine with DX10 for now. as long as i can run COD6,Crysis Warhead, Crysis and the rest, everything is fine.

When I paid the extra 10$ that they forced upon us, I expected better networking from them. No dedicated servers, seriously? I'm usually host so that's not a problem for me, but for all my friends and many others that is a huge issue.

I am a shaw customer in Winnipeg, and I have problem hosting games in most multiplayer titles from what I believed was the upload limit (100kb/s). Perhaps I was wrong in that assumption, heh.

I just don't understand the whole "invite" process, for the last couple of days I have been trying to invite my friends to play in a server and they are ALWAYS full, well of course since the matchmaking process automatically fills up the server. What is the point of trying to invite someone to play with you on the same server if you CANT???????

hah I agree with you OVRCLKR!!! I myself have tried to get in games with ya and its almost impossible. Damn if this game had DS it would really be awesome. I mean the gameplay and gamemodes are insane this game was made to be great, but this match making crap and other things are just not that great. HOwever i still have fun in some games. like hardcore RC, search and destroy matches. Keep your heart beating fast. lol
