Hi,
I bought my first modular PSU few days ago (Seasonic Prime 850 W Gold).
Everything is working fine, but I'm wondering about one thing. I have GTX 1080 Ti which requires 2x PCI-E 8 PIN cables.

Cable has marked sides (PSU, PCI-E).

I connected 1 to PSU and 2a to GPU - 2b is not connected and the cables is very hard to bend without bending GPU a bit.

My question is can I put cable 2b into PSU and 1 to GPU ?

Thanks

I would not swap any cables around. If anything you could always buy an extension for the 2b if by some chance it doesn't reach, which it should. Cable management is key.

Also since this is your first modular power supply, do not swap cables for different power supplies for main connection. (Ex. Seasonic cables to EVGA, etc) There is always a chance of shorting, each company may handle the wire configuration differently for the pins.
