Monitor 1 and 2 Reversed

When I go to display in the control panel to make my second monitor be to the right of the first monitor it does the reverse and makes the second monitor be to the left. And all my applications start up on my secondary display even though I set one as the main display.

What version of windows do you use?

I dont know what to do exactly for windows 8.1 BUT try searching your PC for "Change Display Settings" all the settings for changing which monitor is where should be there.

Edit: sorry just looked it up, you should be able to right click on your desktop and click "Screen Resolution" and change it there.
