Question Monitor and speakers not working together.

My monitor turns off for a second or two before resuming with a slight ticking noise whenever I switch on my speakers and sometimes at random. It's become impossible to use the speakers together with the monitor as it would lose signal every now and then and later with a static screen. What's happening here? Is it the psu?

How are the speakers connected to the system? If the power to the devices are coming off of a power strip, you might want to take a look at your power strip and the wall socket.

Ryzen 3 2200g, MSI A320m pro motherboard, Gigabyte rx 570 4gb, 8 gb ddr4 2400mhz ram, 1 tb hdd, Normal Cabinet and peripherals, no SSDs, Windows 10 pro. Also a corsair vs 450 watt psu but it's around 4 years old. The pc functions normally when it's not doing the monitor issue.
