Monitor as a TV w/o HDMI

Im a noob, sorry.
I wanted to get a Wii U instead of a low-end pc, but I already got my monitor. Is there anyway to use it as a TV with my Wii U without an HDMI port?
The monitor is the i2267Fw

if you use an HDMI to DVI cable it should work.

Unless you want to play online with the wii u you can probably buy a pc and then get an emulator for the wii u. That way you can play wii u games and have a pc
But you probably can play off the monitor, I just checked and there are a few people dong it, so unless I'm reading it wrong off reddit you can.

The only reason why people pick consoles over a gaming PC is due to console exclusive titles. So i'm guessing they want to play some Wii U exclusive like Mario Kart 8 or Smash Bros.

Emulation is not that good.
Chances are it will still have lots of issues.

The only downside to a HDMI -> DVI cable is the lack of audio. You will want to use optical or analog via the multi out port.
