Hi all, I'm using a dell M6700 laptop with the following cards:
-Intel HD 4000
-Nvidia Quadro k4000M

Recently, I tried to connect two external monitors to extend the display with one via HDMI and the other via VGA. The one using VGA connection displays my desktop successfully and is connected to the Intel inbuilt card. However, the one with HDMI connects to the Nvidia card by default and could not be changed.

How can I connect both to the Intel card so I could work with both screens?

Any replies appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Contact Dell support, in some systems the external connections are physically linked to specific video cards. Also there should not really be an issue with using both screens even if they run on different cards, are you saying when both are connected one of them is not working?
