Question Monitor died overnight?

I have an ASUS VS-228 that's quite a few years old now. When I turned on my computer today I noticed the monitor's LED indicator wasn't on, usually it's orange when it's off and blue when it's turned on. I tried swapping the power cable from my 2nd monitor (which is working still) but even that could not get it to turn on. Is there any other type of troubleshooting I can do or did it really just die?

You've already tried trying to power up the panel with another power cable. If the cable is functional on another panel but not on the one that's presumed to be stricken down, then the answer is pretty obvious.

Sorry to hear this, the same thing happened to me two months ago - the monitor just stopped working one morning. I agree, I'm afraid that might be it.
