monitor display is extremely pixelated

so recently i have been travelling and i have been bringing my pc with me. i haven't really been transporting the monitor and pc with much care. Ive recently got home and set up my pc and the display seems to be pixelated. I have checked the display setting and the resolution is set to the highest possible (1920x1080) and scaling is set to 100%.

I have a modern monitor which is 3-4 years old. its a AOC E2270SWN - LED monitor - Full HD (1080p) - 21.5".

I'm sorry if anyone is trying to help. I just found the cause of the problem, my monitor has a setting called "clear-vision" and it was turned on which made the display pixelated. I guess you've always got to check your monitor settings. Not gonna delete this, i'm gonna put my stupidity on show and maybe it might help the poor soul which made the same decision as me.
