Question monitor doesnt work with DP

So I built a pc with a i7 9700f rx 5700 xt and the hdmi port works fine but using displayport does not work it works for 10-15 seconds and then flashes black and then works then flashes back the pc works with my other monitor so I know its a monitor issue I just don't know what it is. The monitor is a acer 144hz ED242QR ABIDPX

So sorry for your issue my friend but no worries well get to the bottom of this quickly. If screen is going black but its obviously is not a hardware issue nor is a monitor issue IMHO. I have delt with people with these sorta issues and you know how they solve it; they solve it by replacing the DP cable. So right now your only choice and easiest route is to get a new DP cable as they can go bad or you had a crummy one come with the monitor that can't give a steady signal. After trying this the next thing is try a different DP port on your video card but I think well nail it right down with the changing of DP cable so do this and get back to us.✝👶🎗🤷‍♀️💯👽
