Hello,
I want to byu monitor for games. I choose between:
Acer G247HYU:
1. Screen Size - 60.5 cm (23.8")
2. Response Time - 4 ms
3. Panel Technology - IPS
4. Maximum Resolution - 2560 x 1440
5. Contrast Ratio - 100,000,000:1
6. Brightness - 300 cd/m²
7. Standard Refresh Rate - 60 Hz

or Acer GN246HLB:
1. Screen Size - 61 cm (24")
2. Response Time - 1 ms
3. Panel Technology - TN
4. Maximum Resolution - 1920 x 1080
5. Contrast Ratio - 100,000,000:1
6. Brightness - 350 cd/m²
7. Standard Refresh Rate - 144 Hz
The first one has 60 Hz, the second has TN panel. So what can you advise? Which one is better for gaming? Maybe you have a number of alternative options.
My graphics card is Gigabyte GeForce GTX 980 Gaming G1. Also I'm going to buy one more Gigabyte GeForce GTX 980 Gaming G1 next year.
Thanks in advance!

[sarcasm] Yeah because 60 HZ is so jerky. [/sarcasm]

Another thing to note is that the Acer monitor is also a 3d monitor, so you'll have that option as well if you decide to play 3d. Here's also a review of the monitor http://xsreviews.co.uk/reviews/acer-gn246hlb-review-an-affordable-24-inch-144hz-monitor/
