Monitor for under $100

I'm building a new PC later on this year, my components are picked out but now Im looking for a good monitor for under $100, I have limited space on my desk so it has to be 15-18 inches wide.

Any suggestions?

UNDER $100? This is the entire list of 1080/1200 monitors newegg has that are less then $100. I'd probably go with the first one listed, the Hans G. Though I didn't look very hard...

Thanks but Newegg doesn't ship to where I live, try looking at Amazon or any other website.
And besides, those monitors are way too large.

Sorry, I'm of the opinion that you should "go big" with the monitor, to a point of course. I can't see spending $60-80 on a x900 or x1050 monitor when a 1080 isn't much more. And with film all being done at 1080 going smaller doesn't make much sense. Your finances and desk space might say go small, but again there isn't much point. You might be better off getting a cheap used monitor while you find a way to get a ~22" 1080 one. Just an idea.

P.S That was the exact same monitor I had in my cart before I removed it.
But yeah, it's my only solution.

If you are gamer dont go for a 5ms screen.. You dont get near as much performance as you do with a 2ms..

Mine have been 5ms screens. Doesn't bother me. Everyone is different, but most people are fine with you're basic TN panel 5ms 60hz screen.
