Question Monitor freezing but pc still working.

I had this problem a few month back where my monitor would freeze like in the photo and when I reinstalled windows it seemed to fix it till now. I have tried to reinstall windows again but it hasn’t worked this time. The pc is still working fine on my second monitor. I have tried a different cable that also didn’t work. This has happened both times when I didn’t use my pc for over a week, my guess is that it’s the monitor that needs repaired but just asking on here in case it’s a simple fix.
