Monitor goes black for a second randomly

I recently bought a Benq GL2450HM from amazon.

After about 3 days of use it started to randomly go black for a second. It can take a very long time before the monitor goes black, for instance it could go black twice in 10 minutes, or not at all for 4 hours.

My graphics card is fine as it didn't have this issue at all with my old monitor, however i used VGA not DVI with my old monitor.
I still have 30 days to return it, and don't want to leave it to late.

Any ideas what i should do?

I have exactly the same issue. It happens with my Intel NUC computer with on board Intel HD Graphics video and a Samsung U28D590D monitor

Bruh Check your cable maybe thats the prob

nevermind dvi was half pluged out
