So I just got my second Monitor, But when I plug the HDMI Cable from the Monitor into my GPU, My original Monitor instantly goes Black. My other Monitor is using DVI-D Duel.

Anybody know what I can do to fix this?

Solution
What video card are you using, what windows.
Probably its switching your main display, which is somewhat normal.
You should go to screen settings and extend and or duplicate on second screen, if your GPU supports multimonitor.
If it is integrated GPU, you should check bios settings for multiple Monitor support.

MSI R9 280X.
Windows 7 Ultimate

Let me explain it a little better, As I didnt do it from the beginning.

PC Is turnt off, I connect the HDMI Cable to my GPU, I turn on the PC, The First Monitor turns on while the second (Hdmi) does nothing, First monitor gets to the "Loading Windows" Stage and then goes Black.

Will try what you said now. Thanks
