When I as soon start up a game sometimes after a while my screen will go black then it will say "Unsupported mode"
The pc remains on but I cannot Alt+tab or do anything. The screen just says "Unsupported mode"
So I am forced to shut off my pc, by cutting off the power.

Please help me this problem is really bad.

Solution

HEY BRO...open your games .cfg file (configuration for the game e.g. arma3.cfg) edit the refresh rate to 60

It is probably jacked way up in the .cfg to 170+ and your flatscreen tv wont handle that

Nah that's not it, tried messing with the resolution a lot.

Your Native resolution I believe is 1366 x 768, e.g your maximum true resolution of your monitor.

set it to this. as anything else is wrong

Make sure game launcher if it allows you to set it before game launches change there also.

It's still not the resolution...
