Monitor has no volume controls please help!!

Hello, I have plugged my xbox one in to my monitor, it has speakers but no volume control so I don't know what I can do to change the volume, can someone help, thanks

There have to be buttons on it. Check your manual.

The volume controls are most likely buried in the monitor's settings.

Sure it's not just a 3.5 mm HDMI or DVI -> HDMI pass through? Why did you not include monitor make and model?
