Monitor is detected but displays no signal

Hello,

I have an acer XF240H connected to a GTX 1060 6gb via display port. Unfortunately, I ran into a problem where it says No Signal, even though my computer is detecting that it is there. In my display settings and nvidia control panel, it says I have two monitors. My secondary monitor is acting as my secondary monitor, thinking that the acer monitor is on, yet it shows no signal. Every few minutes, the monitor turns on and cycles through the display options (DVI, HDMI, Displayport) then goes back to sleep.

What exactly is causing this problem? I tried re-connecting everything already. What is my next step of trouble shooting?

I actually just posted a similar thread like this 10 minutes ago but I can't connect to my Acer XF270H as a secondary display for my laptop. The laptop detects the monitor but no signal on my Acer monitor. It will cycle through and go to sleep mode.
