Monitor is just GVA no signal

I just got a new computer and monitor and when I turn it on it shows the sign Asus and then it's just no GVA signal and I tried DVI and HDMI to and nothing is working.
Pls help me

Do you have a graphics card? If yes:
-> Check you plugged the screen on the outputs of the graphics card and not the motherboard. Also check the cable is correctly plugged in the back of the screen.
-> check the graphics card is correctly plugged in its slot
If that didn't work:
-> Cry
-> Wait for someone who know better than me what he is talking about 😀
