Hi,
Very new to all this, so if I've missed something simple please let me know.

I was on my PC, when it suddenly shut down, it then attempted to restart a couple of times, before managing to restart on the 3rd or 4th attempt.

However, after it restarted my monitor wasn't on. It said no signal received from the HDMI cable which I use to connect the PC to the monitor.

I've tried different HDMI leads, and a VGA cable, non of which work. I've hooked the monitor up to a different PC and the monitor works fine there.

The couple of pages I've looked at for help all say to update the graphics card driver, which I don't know how to do as I can't see the screen.

Ok,

I have no idea how to find out the system specs at the moment. I'll see if I can go back and find a receipt or where I got it from online and see if its listed there.

This is as much as I can probably get:
CPU: i7-4790S
GPU: GTX 1650 D6

Do you need to know the RAM ?

If I need to find the other information, it's probably a case of leaving it and looking to buy and replace.

yes, it does turn on, it's one with all the flashing lights etc. it's making the normal computer noises.

I've also tried the monitor it came with and a normal TV.

I think i'll end up taking it to the computer shop a couple of villages over and see what they can do
