Question Monitor only has VGA input but the PC doesn't have a VGA output port ?

I just got myself a PC build then I discovered that my monitor only has a vga port while my PC doesn't support vga.
I did a bit of research online I saw that I can use display adapters like DP to VGA and DVI to VGA etc...
so my question is will this solution add latency issues and if so what else can I do?

include the age of the PSU apart from it's make and model.
