Monitor issue at boot

So I was reinstalling my drivers yesterday, and I noticed a couple of issues.

The first one was, during boot, after the windows logo comes together and shines for a bit, the monitor goes to sleep for a moment, and eventually comes back on. I reinstalled the drivers again, and the same thing.

I went and unplugged everything and booted again, and the issue went.

Now, I'm not sure whether this is just an issue, or me being very picky, but I notice when my monitor is sleeping, and I boot, the monitor takes about 6-7 seconds to come on.

I can't tell whether it was quicker before or its just in my head as I just reinstalled the drivers. (A placebo? I think thats the wrong term...)

I brought the monitor to my other PC, which is a weaker PC, (i3, geforce 405, mine is an i5 3570k, gtx 66)

The weaker PC was using VGA, mine DVI.
The weaker PC one was quicker, 4-5 seconds.

I'm wondering if this has something to with drivers, etc. Or is it normal for VGA to wake up quicker etc.

Thank you.

I think it might be something to do with my moniter or your HDMI(if yoyr using one). It also happens to me when i play my xbox . Whenever someone turns the switch on/off the display goes of for 2-3 sec

I reinstalled it, and it seems the same.

What I noticed is that the monitor detects the signal from my PC, but just doesn't wake up for a few seconds. I booted the PC, and at the same time booted the monitor and it came up quicker than if it was already sleeping.
