Monitor keyboard mouse don't work

Got a asus 170-a but monitor, keyboard, mouse don't lite up. tried onboard DVI and GTX 970 card. any suggestions

1| Can you please pass on your full system's specs?
2| Did you assemble the system yourself? Inspect the CPU socket and see if any pins are bent/damaged.
3| You may want to follow this guide and bread board your system if you've followed through this guide in assembling your system.
