I have a gtx 1080 in my system and last week it started losing the signal to my monitors when i was playing games randomly. Once it would happen the first time I would continue to turn of my system and try again, only for the problem to happen quicker and more consistently. I've recently rma'd my card and I just received the new one. I played for about 2 hours the first time I installed it. Now the next day I was playing for less than an hour and my monitor lost display again which was very disheartening which means that the problem wasn't my gpu most likely since the problem still persists, I have read that it could be the psu but that is usually only common in lower grade powersupplies since mine is a corsair hx750 titanium certified power supply is it possible there is a different problem?

I had the same problem with an HX850 and a GTX670 and a GTX770, All 3 monitors would go black and lose signal, though the PC you couldn't tell if it was still responding as I could never get a monitor to show the desktop again until I press the reset button.

I'd be willing to bet it's the PSU, from what I've read its a common issue with the HX series.

But what you can do is reset the bios back to defaults and give your games another go, if it still happens, then I'd say at that point try another PSU.
as above, check temps but also for the GPU

also try a DDU driver wipe and re-install latest drivers from nvidia's website

if the problem persists, it sounds like the GPU is struggling under load. Seeing as you've replaced the GPU it could be the sign of a failing PSU. However, it could also be something else

if the temps are ok, and a DDU wipe didn't help, list your full system spec
